Preparation of Klaipėda City Strategic Development Plan’s Revised Version (Klaipėda, 2006–2007)
The main objective of the project was to revise and update Klaipėda City Strategic Development Plan (2001-2011) considering the changes of social economic situation that took place in the city in the past five years, as well as new possibilities for its development.
Light Conversion, Ltd. – project „Lazers for Micro-processing and Diagnosis“ (2005–2007)
The project received funding under EU SF Single Programming Document for 2004–2006 (mean 3.1. “Direct support for business ”). Light Conversiion was one of the partners of the project with amount of funding of 1,5 million LTL. ERC has administered this part of the project.
VšĮ „Menų spaustuvė“ – project “Creative Industries Incubator’s “Menų spaustuvė” Infrastructure Development (II stage)” (2005–2007)
ERC prepared feasibility study for creative arts incubator. The project received funding under EU SF Single Programming Document for 2004–2006 (mean 3.2. “Improvement of business environment”). Amount of funding was 2 million LTL.
Analysis of the Systems for Evaluation of Industrial Competitiveness and Preparation of the Model Applicable for Lithuania (Vilnius, 2006)
The main goal of the project was to analyse models used in the EU countries and international organizations for evaluation of industrial competitiveness as well as prepare methodology that can be applied for the analysis of Lithuanian industries. The study includes analysis of the industries of Lithuania; analysis of the methodologies for the evaluation of industrial competitiveness as well as work plan for implementation of pilot project in Lithuania.
Strategic Development Plan for Šiauliai City (Šiauliai, 2005–2006)
The project encompasses creation of the vision of City’s development till 2017, identification of development priorities; analysis of social-economic development trends; preparation of action plan for implementation of the strategy as well as creation of monitoring system of the implementation of strategic development plan.
Feasibility study “Identification of the Possibilities for Adapting the Narrow Gauge Railway for Tourism” (2005)
The key goal of the study was to analyse and assess economic and financial feasibility concerning survival and development of the currently operating narrow gauge railway (NGR) section Panevėžys-Anykščiai-Rubikiai. In addition to the existing narrow gauge railway sites, the feasibility study looked into the feasibility of establishing new tourism attraction sites, including an entertainment and leisure park. The annexes to the study supply graphic materials – schemes and maps – that depict the main existing and planned tourism sites within the NGR section and in the territory surrounding it. A sociological survey of the existing and potential NGR clients, a NGR public awareness strategy and tactics, a TOR for the technical project “Development of the Narrow Gauge Railway as a Cultural Heritage and Tourism Object During the Period of 2006–2010”, and the conclusions concerning the project’s environment impact assessment were also conducted within the framework of the study.
Feasibility Study on Development of Šiauliai Industrial Park (I stage) (Šiauliai, 2005)
ERC managed the a project that involved preparation of feasibility study on the Development of Šiauliai Industrial Park in Zokniai, detailed plan of the territory of Šiauliai Industrial Park and other documents which were subsequently used when applying for Structural Funds financing. ERC prepared feasibility study for industrial park of ~150 ha, including îualiai city industry competitiveness analysis, development potantial estimation, detailed plan of project implementation and socio-economic cost-benefit analysis. For the purposes of clarifying community's interest in industrial park development, ERC performed the survey of businessmen and city government officials.
New manufacturing facilities of UAB “Arginta” (2005)
ERC prepared investment project as well as application for the financing of EU Structural Funds. In 2006 UAB “Arginta” received EU SF financial support for it’s investment project according to the Lithuania’s 2004-2006 SPD. Amount of SF funding received - 2,5 million LTL, total value of the project - 6,3 million LTL.
Strategic Development Plan for Jurbarkas District for 2006–2015 (Jurbarkas, 2004–2005)
The project encompasses creation of the vision of District’s development till 2015, identification of development priorities; analysis of social-economic development trends; preparation of action plan for implementation of the strategy as well as creation of monitoring system of the implementation of strategic development plan.
Internal Control System Creation for Rural Credit Guarantee Fund (Vilnius, 2004-2005)
The main goal of the project was to standardize the procedures of tasks performed by the staff of the Fund in order to increase the quality of provided services and ensure that the regulation of Fund’s activities is in compliance with the Law on Financial Institutions. After analysing the current Fund’s procedures’ regulations and according to the results of survey conducted among the staff about their responsibilities and tasks performed, a new Procedures Manual was developed, in which the order, terms, responsibilities and control of provision of services were clarified. In addition the following documents were created or improved: Guarantee monitoring system; Terms of debt recovering if the loan guaranteed by the Fund was not paid back to the bank; contracts’ and reports’ forms, flowcharts of tasks performed and services provided. Recommendations for further improvement of the internal control system were developed.
